How to Use REality Software & BrokerKit Tools to Retain Top Real Estate Agents

In our last blog post, we announced the new integration between REality Software and BrokerKit’s real estate recruiting CRM, showing you how to easily export your prospect lists to streamline recruiting.
Now, we’re taking it one step further. In this post, we’ll show you how to use the same integration to retain your best agents, highlight achievements, and identify performance risks early, before they become challenges.
With BrokerKit’s Agent Alerts, you’re notified automatically when an agent’s activity or production changes. Built-in retention campaign templates let you celebrate milestones, recognize achievements, and provide support at exactly the right time. Combined with REality Software’s deep performance insights, these features give you a complete retention workflow in one seamless system.
Why Retention Matters More Than Ever
Attracting new agents is important, but keeping your best agents is where long-term growth happens. Retention preserves your investment in training, strengthens your office culture, and increases profitability.
With REality Software + BrokerKit, you now have the ability to:
- Monitor team performance
- Celebrate wins and milestones automatically
- Spot trends that could indicate a risk of leaving
- Launch proactive retention campaigns before it’s too late
Step 1: Export Team Performance Data from REality Software
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Select Combined Offices.
- Once the results load, click on your office name or use the search box to locate it.
- After loading your Office Drill-Down Performance page, go to Reports → Combined Agents to view your team members.
Here, you’ll see each producing team member’s transaction count, sales volume, average sale price, average days on market and more insights, helping you instantly benchmark performance.
Step 2: Export Your Team Using the BrokerKit Template
- Once your list is finalized, look to the top of your screen for the blue Export option and click on that button.
- Enter the number of rows you’d like to export (up to 1,100 rows per day).
- Select the option to export using the BrokerKit Template in Excel Format. This ensures your exported file is automatically formatted for BrokerKit.
Step 3: Import to BrokerKit
- Open your exported file.
- Add in any additional data if needed.
- Do not modify the column header names. BrokerKit matches data by header name, and changing them may prevent a successful import.
- Save your file.
- Import the file into BrokerKit using their standard import feature.
Make Retention a Competitive Advantage
Now you’re ready to use BrokerKit’s Retention Software features:
- Agent Alerts notify you automatically when an agent’s activity or performance shifts.
- Retention Campaign Templates let you send automated messages for birthdays, anniversaries, or milestones.
- Smart Segmentation lets you target specific groups (by production, seniority, or location) for tailored outreach.
- Integrated Communication Tools (email, SMS, calendar, reminders) make it easy to reach out without juggling multiple apps.
In Summary
The REality Software + BrokerKit integration doesn’t just help you find great agents, it helps you keep them. By exporting team performance data, analyzing trends, and activating BrokerKit’s retention tools, you can build a healthier, more engaged team that drives long-term success.
If you haven’t yet tried exporting your team’s data to BrokerKit, now is the perfect time to explore the retention features and see the difference for yourself.
